City break in Prague on a short notice

I am not the type of guy who makes fast decisions regarding any long-enough trip which needs a plane to be taken to the destination. What I mean under this is that the planned departure date is at least 1 month away (of course when we don't talk about any urgent trip). Due to the more and more affordable plane tickets to everywhere around the world, the time has come that this is a habit of the past now.

That's how two weeks ago while my mind was on a temporary break from its duties during working I found myself in the booking process of a ticket to Prague and of a return ticket 4 days later from Budapest. All that less than six days before the outbound flight (well, at least the waiting was shorter until D-day).

Since the four members of our little family lives in three different countries this was also the perfect occasion to meet all of them in four days. Meeting with my parents in Prague, going around the city, eating and drinking all the best what Prague has to offer, the short holiday started. Two days later being accompanied with 36 litres of premium Czech beer on the backseat of the car, we cruised down to the ever-so-beautiful Hungarian capital where we met with my sister and the rest of the extended family. For my biggest surprise above the chance of seeing most of the people close to my heart in one place I was the one who was given one more surprise: a birthday cake with two numbers atop of it: 2 and 6. 26. Getting old, still being young? It's a matter of perception. Anyway, the cake was made of strawberry, one of my most favourite fruits and that's what matters more than age. Quality time with your loved ones, the experience you share together aaand strawberry. :)

Oh, I have some pictures as well, here they are below my bla-bla, as usual. Hold on, more trips and pictures coming soon in a short time. :)
