Winter(ish) walk

Stockholm faced some strange records in the past two months: on the 9th of November more than 30 cm snow covered the streets of the city, a situation which was unprecedented in the history of Stockholm for 111 years; on the last day of the year the temperatures climbed above 10°C, which again, didn't happen in the last 157 years!

These are some absolutely unimaginable records, but believe me, they are true! Now you may have the following question already formulated in the back of your head: Why does he start this post with this story? Because you would expect that now, in the middle of January, in the middle of winter, Stockholm is seeing a situation nearly similar to the one in the beginning of November. Guess what, no! Now it's quite in-between, lacking both snow and cold temperatures, though there is some ice at least, while temperatures barely leaving the -3/+3 range.

Here come couple of pictures from my first weekend in Stockholm this year, fresh as the new year, not like the pictures from my previous post. :) Enjoy the not too winterish pictures from the capital of Scandiavia!
