Thanks to the Swedish holiday system and how serious they are about religion (read: they aren't), taking two days off, I got away from the country for a whole week to discover and do a road trip around Andalusia at the end of May with my parents.
It was a well planned week, with a bunch of places on the list: Málaga, Gibraltar, Sierra Nevada, Pampaneira, Sevilla, Cádiz, Gibraltar and Ronda. From windy sea side to very hot cities and 3000 m above the sea and less than 10°, we had it all. Flamenco night, amazing plates of tapas and local beers and wines all made the experience better every day. The stunning sunshine and most of the time the unbearably hot temperatures made it to a proper summer holiday even though this happened just on the doorstep of summer. :)
